Dr. med. Thurid Gridl joined Ocean Clinic in September 2024.
Since March 2023 she is a German Board-certified Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeon. In 2024 she also got the European board certification EBOPRAS and the Spanish Medical Bar.She did her studies Gottingen, Germany where she also achieved her doctoral degree in pathology.She started her surgical residency at university hospital of Zurich where she worked in general surgery and thoracic surgery as well as in emergency department.

The plastic surgery training followed at Hannover medical school where she got a lot of experience in reconstructive, burn and hand surgery as well as aesthetic and post bariatric surgery.
Here she also worked on scientific studies.
After her board certification she continued her work as a consultant in Kantonspital Aarau before she joined the Ocean Clinic team.
